Every show is different. There's no point in perpetuating negativity by whining about one in particular. If you let a lackluster show get you down, that's on you. Do your best every time, give every ounce of yourself and leave it all out there on the stage. Rinse. Repeat.
High-energy rock 'n' roll! We're not exactly Ramonescore. We're not entirely punk rock. We're not really oldies, and we're not exactly power pop. But we're not not those things.
We're buddies who are able to get together a few times every month and play music (whether it's at a show or just a practice). We're not grappling for money or record labels or fame. We have a blast playing for a big festival crowd just like we do when it's four people in a basement. The industry is harsh—we're content to ignore it and it's welcome to do the same.
Either "Voodoo Mama Juju" (an original of ours) or "Chain Saw" by RAMONES… not sure. Playing music IS the reason we keep playing.
Definitely the CRAPPYS—they're a true inspiration. Cafe Colonial 3520 Stockton Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95820. Matthew Marrujo.
Wish for three more wishes.
