Tell us about how you first started gigging.

I was a bedroom DJ for years until a promoter in town caught wind that I DJ. She contacted me to throw a monthly event, and that event really took off. After that, multiple promoters and bar venue managers started contacting me to work at their events. I eventually started my own production company called Love Beat and was able to host/DJ many successful parties.

To me there is no worst gig. Every gig teaches you something new.
What artist or band are you a little embarrassed to love, and why?

I love Britney Spears!!! People think she's cheesy. I love her, though. Fight me … LOL.

Who are your biggest influences?

My aunts and uncles growing up were my biggest influences. They taught me about hip-hop culture through breakdancing and other forms of hip-hop dance.
There are many artists I can name which have influenced my style and taste in music over time, like Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, Tupac, Tim McGraw, Paramore and the '90s rave culture as well.
