What's the story behind the band name?

The history behind our name ''KARE Collective'' is we sat together figuring out what our communities needed and how we could best provide it, or provide conditions that could bring that about that thing. We thought sustainable self-care is something we weren't really taught growing up, and many of our peers weren't taught. We took the care from self-care and replaced the C with a K. Our vision was to end the circle here. If we weren't taught this, we would grow and the fundamental information would miss our children's ears unless we taught ourselves, then it would be continous cycle.
