How do you describe your music to people?

Its very intricate and dexterous when it comes to the wordplay. Just sick, good music with something for everybody; all you have to do is listen.

Tell us about how you first started gigging.

I started writing around the age of 9 and took it more serious around 10 years old. I began to record in a friend's home studio at the age of 14, and the rest was history.

Tell us about your best gig in Sac.

The best show in Sacramento I had was at my fam E-Moe's birthday bash. We had our drummer Quake backing me up, and the whole team was ripping it up with me.

Tell us about your worst gig.

Just any gig where people can't handle their liquor. It makes it bad for business.

What artist or band are you a little embarrassed to love, and why?

I don't know about being embarrassed but I'm also an R&B fan, so you'll catch me listening to some Mary J. Blige or some Aaron Hall.

What's next for you?

I just dropped my project Local Gz Koolin EP, entirely produced by Local Star. I also have my Kapital Business album dropping later this year that's already finished. I just plan on working this EP to set it up for the album.

What's the story behind your stage name?

As I became older, I wanted a name that commanded respect, so I came up with the name Mi$tuh G.

What's your favorite local artist/group?

02.04.19

My favorite local artists would have to be Don Blanco, E-Moe, XshadoX, Q.Allanz, Mak7teen, Andre Elix and Disrespect.

Who are your biggest influences?

02.04.19

2pac, Tech N9ne, Brotha Lynch Hung, C-Bo, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Linkin Park, and life really inspires me.
