Q & A

How do you describe your music to people?

02.04.19

It's difficult for us to describe, so we'll try and let them experience it without telling them what to think.

Tell us about how the band formed.

02.04.19

The drummer for our other band quit, so we started playing as a duo. We got another rhythm section for that other band eventually, but kept this one going along side it.

Tell us about your best gig in Sac.

02.04.19

Our live score to Nosferatu in October 2018.

What artist or band are you a little embarrassed to love, and why?

02.04.19

We have no embarrassment about anything we like.

What's next for the band?

02.04.19

Writing, recording, playing shows. Collaborations with friends. Band stuff.

What's the story behind the band name?

02.04.19

That's a caul some babies are born with—a kind of skin covering, like a thin veil, over the face. It can be removed, but... that person is somehow blessed with a highly developed degree of clairvoyance.—Jay Anson, The Amityville Horror.

What's your favorite local artist/group?

02.04.19

Too many good bands to name here, and we don't want to leave anyone out.

Who are your biggest influences?

02.04.19

Dreams, the night sky.

Words to live by?

02.04.19

Think before you speak.
