How do you describe your music to people?

Tough question. We blend various genres sometimes within the context of a single song. We love to hear other's descriptions. We like to believe our songs can be appreciated by a diverse demographic.
How do you feel about musical award competitions?

Local competitions are great to help expose local creative and talented musicians. It also helps when it is not necessarily who you know but being able to tap into your fans and see how well-supported you are.
If your band was a movie, what movie would it be?

Blazing Saddles. Although, not quite sure why.
Tell us about this creative project. What is it?

Delta Mystics started as three-piece following Ken Rego's musical quest. Now, the band is five strong, each with very eclectic tastes and approaches to music. As we bonded personally and musically, our sound is evolving as three singer-songwriters are coming to the table. Recording the first album, 369, was an awesome journey. Experiencing what's coming for our next album is just plain exciting.
Tell us about your best gig in Sac.

So far, all of them. Any time people discover the frequency and enjoy what we're creating - It's GOOD. There's nothing better than people shakin' their thing and sharing that moment.
What's next for the band?

For 2020, we are heading back into the studio for our second album, creating another video with Chris Basiaga of X Media, and getting on stage as frequently as possible.
