First gig came from some family that heard my music and wanted to set up a show. I performed for literally 10 people in a smoke shop on Auburn Boulevard.

So far it would have to be headlining First Festival. Definitely my biggest personal performance up to date and the first time I continuously performed for over an hour. It was tough, but I now know I am capable of controlling the crowd as needed for the full time as a headliner!

Any gig I've gotten has been a good thing. The worst gig I've gotten was either being told I can not perform after fulfilling my end of a contract, no gig at all.

Tour, tour, tour!! The one way this city is surviving is because of artists in our city taking the music to the fans and supporters!

The name is quite simple. Charlie is directly from my first name and Muscle is the representation of my struggle manifested into perseverance.

Any artist coming from Sacramento with enough patience and drive to keep going is my favorite.

I used music as a journal for years, just as a method to escape the pain an 8-year-old should NEVER feel or be exposed to growing up in Oak Park. It turned into a way to tell the story from my point of view and from there, I kept going.
