Tell us about how you first started gigging.

I first started gigging as a community radio station DJ in 1995. I also did some mobile DJ side-work. I went by the name "Insane" Billy Lane. So corny!

Tell us about your best gig in Sac.

Celebrating 20 years of 916 Junglist back in November of 2018. I was able to perform with my newly released EP (a year in the making) at a sold-out 916 Junglist event. It was also my birthday.

I listen to "Baby Shark" with my kids. I know all of the dance moves.

The next EP is in the works and is on track for a Spring 2019 release.

I was born with it. It's really Billy, too, and not William.

Eddie Edul, Jus James, R.A.W, Dara, Shortkut, Craze, Aphex Twin, Shy FX, Roni Size, Photek, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Art Blakey, Roy Ayers, Primus, Lee “Scratch” Perry, NWA.
