I started out as a DJ in Element of Soul and always wanted to break out in the electronic scene, so when EOS slowed down, I started going to lots of EDM shows and started getting bookings.
Tell us about your best gig in Sac.

One of my favorite shows in Sacramento was when I opened for DJ Swamp and I got to play a very special drum & bass set. The crowd was really into it, and I had just won the SAMMIE for best DJ in 2016—felt like I was on top of the world!!!
What artist or band are you a little embarrassed to love, and why?

Coheed & Cambria, cuz it's super cheesy love rock.
What's next for you?

Trying to push my radio show on Alt 94.7, Bacterium, to different cities in America.
What's the story behind your stage name?

I'm a Libra, which is a wind sign, and Zephyr is the god of the west wind, and I'm born and raised in California, so it seemed to work.
