What's the story behind the band name?

When I was a teenager back in Jersey, I wanted to be in my older brother's band. But every time I went to their rehearsals, his band mates would say, "Here comes that cat again trying to join the band!" I told them, "One day, I will have my own band, and I will be the Top Cat,'" and that's what DonGato means, "Top Cat."
