Q & A

All-time favorite song?

02.04.19

It's so hard to choose, but a song that will always excite me and get me out on the dancefloor is "Situation" by Yaz (oo).

How do you describe your music to people?

02.04.19

I tend to play tunes of the darker variety with genres including new wave, industrial, darkwave, synthpop and minimal synth from the late '70s to now. Although, I am a huge fan of flamboyant disco like Sylvester and Divine, but I haven't had the pleasure to play them in public yet.

Tell us about your best gig in Sac.

02.04.19

I really enjoyed DJing before Venetian Veil at the Red Museum. They were doing a live score while Nosferatu played, and it took place during Halloween time. I was able to spin my experimental, eery records to set the spooky mood.

What's next for you?

02.04.19

I'd like to expand my reach and DJ in different places, like while I travel.

What's the story behind your stage name?

02.04.19

It’s actually from a Twinings tea blend. I bought a variety pack of tea, and one of the teas in the pack was called "Lady Grey." I instantly thought, "Oh, that's perfect. I want people to call me that when I’m old, but then I thought, "Well why wait?"
