Q & A

How do you describe your music to people?

02.01.18

We sound like a cross between current metal and classic rock. Heavy music with melodic vocals and harmonies.

Name a pet peeve.

02.01.18

When people in the audience hold up cellphones and, even worse, tablets during a performance. We have seen people who held up devices and recorded the entire set. That is so incredibly disrespectful to the people behind them who are there to watch the live show.

Name a recent personal food trend.

02.01.18

Salad, chocolate mint milk shakes, rum, applesauce. There are four members in the band. We’ll let you try to figure out which answer corresponds to which member.

Tell us about your worst gig.

02.01.18

Gigs are unpredictable. That’s part of the whole experience. There have been several gigs where we have had technical difficulties, dealt with diva attitudes from national acts, etc. You just have to suck it up and deal with it. We are pretty good about being able to work through any issues. The most important thing is to put on the best performance possible for the people who paid to see a show.

What artist or band are you a little embarrassed to love, and why?

02.01.18

No one should be embarrassed to love an artist or band based on what others will say. Who cares? If the music connects with you, or makes you feel a certain way and you enjoy it... then just enjoy it.

What did you want to be when you were 7?

02.01.18

Rock star. Duh!

What drives you to keep playing even though the music industry can be so harsh?

02.01.18

We love music. It’s in our blood. We are not in this business for the money. We do it because we have a love for creating and playing music. Playing music live in front of an audience is one of the most incredible feelings in the world.

What's your favorite local artist/group?

02.01.18

There are honestly too many to name! Sacramento has a wealth of musical talent in all genres. We have love for everyone in our scene pursuing their dreams and putting themselves out there.
