Collectively, "Sound of Silence" by Disturbed is our favorite.

Austin: We went to high school together and played in various bands with each other. When Jacob moved back to Sacramento we moved in together and started Plots.

Jensen: We recently played one of Cafe Colonial's last shows before they changed owners, and that was amazing. Great crowd, amazing lineup, it was a great night.

Jacob: It's hard to remember a specific "worst" gig, but one our worst shows was when we played a show at the Colony and it accidentally got double-booked, so we had nine bands on the bill, with the show starting late at 8:30 p.m. We were scheduled to headline, but we fought with the other show that was booked not to steal our crowd who came out to see us. Turned out, the other five bands who were brought on the bill were just variations of the same four people playing in each other's bands and yet took forever to set up a washboard and one acoustic bass guitar. You could tell they were all under-practiced, and it was pretty much a joke. We had a nice 11-minute set. It went OK though.

The Beatles, because of their unique sound.

Jacob: Hard to recall, but probably "Hot Cross Buns" or something of that caliber.
Austin: First song for me was "Look What You Done" by Jet on piano.
Jensen: "Sunday Bloody Sunday" by U2 on drums.

Currently working on our next release and performing it on the road.

Jacob: It started because we wanted something that was simple and easy to remember. Something that described our sound, like a story plot. Little did we know, it would be one of the most confusing names for people to understand ex: Plotz, Plops, The Plots, etc.

Jacob: Gentleman Surfer, Modern Man, Ex Heir, Meet Cute, Plum Anderson, Mediocre Cafe, Seafloor Cinema, Enso Anima, Trikome, Pregnant, Boy Romeo, Clear Blue, Anime Aliens, Barc and Young Aundee.
02.04.19
Jensen: The Bee Gees, The Fugees, Abba, Maroon 5, and Staind.
02.04.19
Jensen: We all have our personal influences, but collectively we were mostly inspired by the rising math rock scene that was happening in Sacramento in the early 2000s.
